Nichole, the dogs and my self went for a two night camping and offroading trip in the toiyabe national forest area. We went with 3 other members of toyota120.com and luckliy there was no major damage on this trip.
Pictures over here. Video over here (thanks Joel)
After two years of putting it off, I began last week on the new front bumper. Picks over here
Cold weather + snow + flag football = The Stupid Bowl. Pictures over here.
Went on a little run with the local Land Cruiser association this past weekend. It was good to get the truck on a trail again. It was a pretty easy trail but there were some very steep spots going up and down through the mountains. Pictures are over here.
Sorry about all the pictures of the 80 series with the Volvo axles, those sorts of things always intrigue me.
Title pretty much says it all. After spending a long 3 days digging the trench for the sprinklers, 4 attemps at getting the valves to not leak, 5 cubic yards of top soil, one wrecked trailer, 900 sq/ft of sod later this is what we got. Looks good now, I just hope it makes it through the winter and the dogs dont destroy it. If I ever have to do this again I will hire someone.
After 4 great years in Las Vegas it was time to pack up and go somewhere that has a little more weather. So when the company announced their plans of moving to Reno NV we decided to head on up there. So we listed our condo and 3 months later we were on our way up.
Well its been a long 8 weeks, but on 12/21/06 Nichole and I drove to Baker to pick Echo and her brother up for their ride to Las Vegas. Echo’s brindle brother (BeeBee) got to stay with us for a few hours before his new owners arrived. Bella took to the new pups pretty well and hopefully she will calm down in the next few days. Take a look at the pictures over here.
On September 30th, Nichole, her aunt Rosemary, Rosemary’s brother in
law Harry, myself and several others went on the ultimate day hike, the Grand Canyon from the North Rim to the South Rim in one day 23.8 miles. A great big THANKS to Harry for showing us a great time.
